Eptainks has got the Eco Passport by Oeko-Tex® certificate, which is valid for the main inks for textile printing of FREE and AQUA series and for a number of auxiliary products
Eco Passport by Oeko-Tex® is the verification and certification system for chemical and textile products, and it proves that they can be used for a sustainable textile production.
The Eco Passport system is fully integrated and harmonized with the Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex® certification system and is accepted as an indicator of conformity for MRSL of ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals).
The certification process guarantees – by means of an analytical verification performed by an Oeko-Tex® accredited laboratory – that:
- The chemical substances contained in the inks comply with the restrictive limits imposed by Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex®
- The components are not mentioned in the STeP lists by Oeko-Tex®, in MRSL (Manufacturing Restricted Substance List) by ZDHC, and in the SVHC list (Substance of Very High Concern) of the REACH regulation.
Thanks to Eco Passport by Oeko-Tex®, Eptainks is now able to guarantee to its customers the possibility to meet the standards required by international brands with high quality inks, now compliant with a certification that has been worldwide recognized for almost thirty years.
A new goal for Eptainks that, thanks to a careful selection and verification of the raw materials used and the accurate control of the production processes, has been implementing for several years a product portfolio that respects the protection of the environment and aims to the sustainability of the textile supply chain.
During the next months, all the packaging of the products that got the Eco Passport by Oeko-Tex® certification will be marked with the labels here above.
